November 2008Teddy Bear DriveThe UFCW Local 152 Women's Network will be hosting a "Teddy Bear Drive" for The Arc (formerly known as the Association for Retarded Citizens). You can check out The Arc website to obtain more information on this worthy organization: www.thearc.org Teddy bears/stuffed animals can be dropped off at UFCW Local 152, One White Horse Road, 3rd Floor, Hammonton, New Jersey. September 2008CARE PACKAGES FOR OUR SOLDIERSThe Rolling Thunder Ch4 NJ has asked Local 152 to place a drop box in our office for items that our soldiers so desperately need. A list of items is attached. Please note that they must be new and unopened.You can drop off the items between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Union Office located at One North White Horse Pike, 3rd Floor, Hammonton, New Jersey or you can give the items to your shop steward or contact your Union Representative directly at 1-888-564-6152. You can also make a tax-deductible donation to help defer the cost of postage. If you wish to make a donation, please mail it directly to the local at One White Horse Centre, PO Box 637, Hammonton, NJ 08037-0637, attn: Dan Konczyk. If paying by check please make it payable to Rolling Thunder Ch4 NJ. All items must be collected by Friday, November 21, 2008. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
