UFCW Local 152 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Avalon Golf Club. The golf club is located at 1510 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210. All proceeds to benefit the Leukemia Society of America, The Bryan D. Ross Foundation and various other charities.

UFCW's Women's Network Operation Backpack

The Women’s Network is collecting backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year for students in the Delaware Valley who are in danger of becoming homeless or who are already living in a shelter. Operation Backpack relieves the children’s families of a significant financial burden and helps them begin the school year with a brand new backpack. Deadline date is August 23, 2010.

Ride wIth Pride Poker Run- Sunday, June 13, 2010

The 2nd Annual “ Ride with Pride” Poker Run will be taking place 9:00 a.m. at the UFCW Local 152 Union Office, 1 North White Horse Pike (corner of Routes 30 & 206), Hammonton, NJ 08037. All proceeds go to The Bryan D. Ross Foundation. Pre-Registration Forms are available.

The 2010 UFCW Scholarship Program

The 2010 UFCW James A. Suffridge Scholarship Fund will be available on January 15, 2010. As in the past, for the 2010 awards the International will continue to accept online applications from any student who has graduated from high school, will be graduating in the spring of 2010, or has received their GED. Again, this year the application will be available from January 15, 2010 through April 15, 2010 and the International is proud to award several scholarships worth up to $8,000 each this year.
