UFCW Local 152 supports charities in the Tri-State area throughout the year. Beneficiaries of the union's Annual Golf Tournament include The Bryan D. Ross Foundation, The Leukemia Society of America, The Atlantic City Rescue Mission and others.

The Atlantic City Rescue Organization

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission is a nonprofit, Christian social service ministry that provides life-saving care for the poor and homeless in all of Southern New Jersey. People who have no home, no family or friends, or no sense of self-worth receive practical help, counseling, physical, emotional and other needs (through the provision of shelter, clothing, food, counseling, referral and structured programs) of the poor and those who are bound and bruised by addictive lifestyles in Atlantic County and the surrounding communities.

The Bryan D. Ross Foundation

The Bryan D. Ross Foundation's mission is to help defray the cost of a catastrophic illness, injury or death. The Foundation was formed following the tragic and unanticipated death of the son of a UFCW Local 152 staff member in recognition of the family's gratitude for the generosity of the Local 152 membership.

To apply for the Foundation award, you must:

  1. Be nominated by a Local 152 member.
  2. Show financial need, which would require the last two years' tax returns, medical documentation and a letter from doctors stating the nature of the illness or injury.
  3. Fill out both the application form and the authorization form.
  4. Send requests to:
